Aviad Goz
Aviad Goz is the creator of the NEWS Compass® and a pioneer of leadership and organizational navigation. For more than four decades he has guided executives worldwide to align direction, culture, and execution, and to deliver results in times of uncertainty.
Four decades of the same observation
He began coaching in 1986, with degrees in life science, neurobiology, and motivation. In the years since he has worked with managers and executives in more than 2,200 organizations, from start-ups to the Fortune 100.
Across all of them, the same thing kept happening. Capable people arrived at a crossroad and stopped. Not for lack of intelligence or effort, but for four recurring reasons: no clear direction, motivation that had drained away, execution too weak to carry the plan, and the beliefs and fears nobody says out loud.

He founded N.E.W.S.® Navigation in 2006 and has spent the two decades since building the framework out into fifteen solutions, from executive coaching to full organizational transformation. They are used in more than 45 countries.

Aviad has written twelve books and numerous articles on personal and organizational development, published in HR, OD, and medical journals. His most recent, Navigation in Times of Change: The N.E.W.S.® Navigation Journey, was published in 2020.
He has also trained generations of coaches and facilitators worldwide, which is how one framework came to be spoken in 45 countries rather than one office.
